B.ExSc, B.HSc, and M.HSc(Osteo)

Registered Osteopath

Alexandra is originally from Launceston and thanks to her keen interest in health and fitness, studied a Bachelor of Exercise Science at the University of Tasmania. She completed an internship with a local soccer club, whilst also training young athletes alongside an Exercise Physiologist. Experiences in a sporting environment fostered her interest in injury prevention and rehabilitation, which led to the discovery of osteopathy and its holistic approach to health management.

Alexandra then went on to complete her studies in osteopathy at Victoria University. Whilst moving to the Melbourne CBD was a slight culture shock, she loved her time in Victoria.

Alexandra's Master's degree was a highlight, as it provided her with hands-on experience treating real patients from the community. She feels this is when she got my first real taste of being an osteopath – and absolutely loved it!

Since completing her studies, she has returned to Launceston and is eager to establish her career at Bodyfocus. Since moving back, she has enjoyed reconnecting with family and friends, settling into her new home with her fiancé, and staying active both in the gym and the outdoors.
