<image:caption>M.H.Sc. [Osteo], B.Sc [Clin] Clinic Director Registered Osteopath Clinical Pilates Instructor As an active, and very sporty teenager, Lizzie acquired various sports injuries. This lead her to seek attention and trial a whole range of health modalities and approaches. Osteopathy immediately impressed her with its holistic, hands on approach, knowledgeable practitioners and emphasis on considering the patient as a unique individual. Lizzie completed her Osteopathic qualifications at Victoria University in Melbourne in 2006. Lizzie’s passion for Osteopathy stemmed from her desire to work with people and her interest in the science of the human body. She is a bubbly, enthusiastic Osteopath who always strives to get the best results for her patients. She incorporates a mainly structural approach with more gentle techniques when required. She is also trained in Advanced Dry Needling techniques and Cupping. She takes a keen interest in common injuries and rehabilitation, incorporating the use of Clinical Pilates to complement her treatment. She has completed the Internationally recognised, Polestar Rehabilitation Clinical Pilates Certificate. Lizzie encourages patients to take an active role in their own health and wellbeing. In recent years, she has developed a passion for the Osteopathic management and care in Pregnancy and enjoys assisting women throughout their pregnancy, giving strategies and exercises to use at home to reduce and relieve pregnancy related pain, instability and to prepare the body for labour. She has furthered her studies to include antenatal and postnatal Osteopathic Courses and additional Pregnancy Pilates courses. When Lizzie isn’t at work you will find her chasing her busy toddler around, trying to squeeze in a Pilates or yoga class, baking something sweet or planning her next holiday. Lizzie is currently on maternity leave and will be returning in 2018.  </image:caption>

      <image:title>Our TEAM - ANDREW NGUYEN</image:title>
<image:caption>B.Sc.[ClinSc] M.H.Sc[Osteo] Registered Osteopath Originally from Melbourne, Andrew completed his Osteopathic education at Victoria University in 2007. Following graduation, Andrew worked closely with TCM practitioners, Naturopaths and Psychotherapists at a Melbourne multidisciplinary clinic broadening his appreciation and approach for holistic health care. In 2011, a yearning to travel to his parents’ birthplace saw Andrew accept a six month voluntary position based in a Saigon orphanage. With the Vietnam Voluntary Network, he was given the opportunity to reconnect with his cultural heritage as well as provide Osteopathic care for children suffering from disabilities that included cerebral palsy and hydrocephalus. The experience in Vietnam not only reconfirmed Andrew’s love and passion for Osteopathy but also ignited an interest in Paediatric Osteopathy. Since his time in Vietnam, until the end of 2014, Andrew continued his work as an Osteopath in a small rural community in Nova Scotia, Canada. Here the limited primary health care within the community allowed Andrew to treat a diverse range of patients and conditions. For Andrew the constant challenge of serving and educating those with varying complex health conditions, however acute or chronic, was always rewarding and immensely inspiring. Whether in Australia or abroad, Andrew maintains extensive post graduate Osteopathic study, with a keen interest in the cranial field, visceral technique and the Biodynamics approach. Regardless of whether the techniques used are direct or indirect, Andrew’s gentle approach is always one of respect. Educating patients on self-health management and empowerment is an important part of Andrew’s treatments as nothing is more exciting than collaborating with people keenly interested in their own health and striving to achieve life balance. A passion for travel, the great outdoors and a more sustainable way of life has brought Andrew to Tasmania.</image:caption>
